Dieses Streuprisma für direkte Sicht besteht aus drei Teilen, die durch optischen Kontakt miteinander verbunden sind. Das Material wurde so ausgewählt, dass es so weit wie möglich eine gute UV-Durchlässigkeit bietet. Dadurch eignet sich das Prisma für Anwendungen im nahen UV-Bereich (über 350 nm), solange die Lichtintensitäten moderat sind.
